Wolf Chief

The warrior’s journey starts here. Strength, discipline, community — values that stay with you for life.

Home of the Warrior Spirit

Our head coach, Csaba Lelekács, born in Transcarpathia and living in Hungary for many years, is a true force of nature: one of the most successful Thai boxing fighters in Hungarian history, who once even earned a place in the brutally strong Ukrainian national team. He later won a world championship title representing Hungary and finished second at the legendary Prince’s Cup in Thailand.

After his success in the ring, Csaba Lelekács continued his career as a coach, teaching young people in several Budapest locations the art of standing combat, from the very youngest to those dreaming of world titles. Today he runs a small club in the Újbuda Center with a family atmosphere and a professional mindset.

The team meets every weekday afternoon on the tatami in the separate training hall on Kánai Road, as well as in the 4×4 meter ring right next to it. Training sessions are completely open — anyone from preschoolers to seniors is welcome to join.

“Little Wolf” — in another translation, Young Wolf — was a Cheyenne tribal chief and a famous American freedom fighter. He was young, a wolf, and a warrior too — this club takes its name from him. The wolf also has symbolic importance in Hungarian history. More important than the name, however, is the unique technical and tactical teaching style found here in Hungary, and the spirit that shapes the association’s everyday life.

The focus is on striking sports: kickboxing, K1, and especially the fundamentals of Muay Thai. Anyone who thinks this is the same as the reckless fighting seen in action movies should definitely visit and see how children and adults, younger and older athletes train and fight together while encouraging and supporting each other.

“The most important thing is the team. That this group of boys becomes more than just people who train together. We want to help shape the children and young people into strong human beings. I think we are on the right path, but life will decide.”

— Lelekács Csaba
